THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY UF PORT COQUITLAM

Section 401 (b) (ii) of the Subdivision of Land By-Law
reads "shali be increased where the lot is on the outside of a
curve or where the lot sidelines converge from the front to the
rear, to ensure that the minimum width of the required rear
building line is not less than GO feet ‘in width". It is recom-
mended that the 60 feet be changed to 50 feet.

Section 401 (c) reads "the 'minimum parcel frontage"
set forth in clause (a) of this section shall be increased by
5 feet for parcels intended for residential use that have streets

along the front lot line of the parcel and along one side of the
lot line". It.is recommended that this section be deleted.

The above recommendations have been discussed with the
Land Use Committee and the Public Works Committee and concurrence
by both Committees has been obtained.

Please accept this memorandum as a request that the above
proposed recommendations for changes to the Subdivision of Land
By-law be approved.
