« A2I1-YEAR-OLD Terrace man is
aniong the 12 suspects arrested in
a cocaine bust carried out by
RCMP in Prince George and Ter-
race.

Benny Ted Strain, 21, is alleged
to be part of a cocaine trafficking
ring.

Five men and four women from
Frince George, plus a Vancouver
man and a Surrey man were also
arrested and charged with con-
spiracy to traffick in cocaine.

Police seized seven ounces of
cocaine Oct. 26 in Terrace and 27
ounces of cocaine Dec, 1 in
Prince George.

The suspects were arrested Dee.

RCMF estimate the street value
of the cocaine at $150,000, They
also seized about $20,000 in cash
and $15,000 worth of household
effects, which they belicve were
bought with the proceeds of drug
trafficking.

Police say the investigation is
continuing and money-laundering
charges are pending.

The busts punctuate a three-
month investigation into a
cocaine trafficking ring, Police
said a trafficking organization
started in Prince George and later
expanded to Terrace and Van-
couver,
