These are the Annual General Meeting and Planning Sessions. The planning sessions give all eight district representatives a chance to discuss what they would like to see ac- complished in their areas in the coming year. This includes tournament schedule conflicts ‘with other areas; clinic timetables for training coaches, and players; ways of informing the public of the sport; discussion of problems ‘similar to all; and in- terest in national and in- ternational events. The Northwest district covers the areas from Vanderhoof to the Queen Charlottes, and Cassiar to Bella Bella. Past district represen- tative is Sherry Anderson of Terrace. The 1986/87 representative is Deane Jenion of Terrace, who will happily discuss bad- minton with anyone in- terested. Terrace resident Sherry Anderson, recently helped set up the net for a badmin- ton demonstration in Skeana Mall. Badminton A spectator stopped to play badminton at the nets set up in Skeana Mall recently.
