(9) Accessory Off-Street Parking: no change It is further recommended that the following definitions be inserted in the appropriate place within “Part 1 =~ Interpretation” of the "Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240": Building Envelope: Means the area enclosed by a vertical projection of the outside of the area within a lot in which buildings are permitted. Building Footprint: Means the horizontal area produced by a vertical projection of the outside of the outermost walls of a building. Density: Means a measurement of development intensity on 4 lot, expressed as floor area ratio, lot area per dwelling unit, or unit density. Finished Grade: Means the average elevation of the perimeter of a building, or a structure at its intersection with the ground, excluding underground entrances. Indoor Recreation Areas: Means a building or a portion of a building specifically designed to accommodate meetings or recreational activities and available for use by all occupants of a residential complex. Lot Area Per Dwelling Unit: Means the minimum amount of lot surface area, required for each dwelling unit on a lot. Natural Grade: Means the elevation of the surface of a lot at the date of application for a Development Permit, in relation to the lot, as determined by the building inspector by observation or from a survey plan submitted for the lot. Outdoor Recreation Areas: Means an outdoor area specifically designed for recreational use and available for use by all. occupants of a residential complex.
