SUBJECT: 1985 Business License Fees.

RECOMMENDATION:
That we amend our business license by-law for 1985 by:
(1) Increasing the fees by 3%.

(2) Adding a new category for Fitness and Recreation Facilities.
(3) Amend the rental units category.

BACKGROUND:

See attached memo from the City Clerk dated September 17th, 1984.

The proposed rare increase will raise approximately $4,800.00 in additional
license fees for 1985. In 1984, we budgeted for $150,000.00 in license fees
and we will receive appreximately $160,000.000.
