Pnase I is propesed for implementation ‘in. March 1985, while Phase II is proposed for September of the same year. The route layout described below is preliminary, and is intended for budgeting purposes (see Figure 4.1). Actual routes will be finalized in conjunction with the municipalities and the MTOC during the fall of 1984. 4.2.3.1 Phase I Changes for March 1985 #160~Barnet It is proposed that the #160-Barnet be rerouted from the Barnet Highway to Glen Drive, Lansdowne, Guildford Way and Ioco Road. The new route will serve 1,650 persons in the Eagle Ridge neighbeurhosd as well as providing direct service to Bagle Ridge Hospital in Port Moody. Although the revised reuting provides service to only 50% of the Eagle Ridge area, additional service cannot be provided at this time owing to limitations in the local street network. In Port Coquitlam it is propesed that the #160-Barnet be rerouted southbound via Pitt River Road, Pooley to Eastern The new routing will provide service to an additional 450 persons living east of Mary Hill. Drive. The revised routings require field testing by transit vehicles which cannot be completed during the present labour dispute. As a result both changes are contingent upon Satisfactory operating conditions. The #160 route would operate every 30 minutes during the mid-day and every 15 minutes during the peak periods. Additional peak period service hetween Vancouver and the Northeast Sector will be provided by routes #162, 163, 164 and 165. #162~River Springs (Peak Periods Only) The #162-River Springs is a new peak period service designed to serve the River Springs area in Coquitlam and the Woodland area of Port Coquitlam.
