Cost of Policing - (Cont'd.)

In conclusion not too much benefit has come out of all the meetings between
Provincial and Federal Ministers.

The one area that we must continue to press the Provincial Government on is
the inequity between the Municipalities and the unorganized areas in regard
to taxation to help meet the costs of not only Policing but education and
many other areas.

I would hope that this Council along with all others in the Province will
pursue these type of problems, through the U.B.C.M. and our local Municipal
Associations, in order to try and alleviate some of the ever increasing costs
on our taxpayers,
