SUBJECT: AMENDMENT TO BYLAW 2578
(Protective Services Committee Meeting,

of December 18, 1991)

RECOMMENDATION:

That Bylaw 2578, Part IV, 4.2.1, Fireworks and Firecrackers, dates
for sale be changed to read:

October 25 and October 31 inclusive, in each year.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS :

The Bylaw now reads:

Shall not apply during the period between October 26 and
November 1, inclusive, in each year. This allows the selling
of fireworks and firecrackers after October 31, Halloween, on
November 1, one day after.
