Recommendation:

1. That approval in principle be given to Minor Hockey for the
hosting of the 1988 Bantam Tournament from March 26th to
April 3rd, 1988.

2. That details in regard to ice rental rates be worked out at
a later date.

Background & Comments:

The organizers of the 1988 Bantan Tournament wish to help—
celebrate the City's 75th Birthday with an expanded tournament.
AS you will note from their letter, they wish to include teams
from other countries such as Japan and Australia. In order to do
this, they need approval now so that contact can be made with the

other countries. Details in regard to ice rental will be worked
out at a later date.
