Dear Mayor and Members of Council,

Much has been said in recent months about the possible 8a
in grocery stores and supermarkets. The British Columbia Hotels' Association
does not believe beer and wine sheuld be sold from these locations.

There are sound, practical reasons for this position. These include increased
distribution, licensing, Policing anda inspection costs which would ultimately
be passed on to the consumer.
