In response to an enquiry from Alderman Muldoon prior to passage of the resolution above she was advised that the percentage increase over the previous year of the indemnity was 10%. The Acting-Mayor advised that in his opinion the indemnity provided for the Mayor was very much on tha low side when compared to the indemnity paid in other municipalities,
