Fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 29, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sechelt Indian Band

NOTE

The Department of Communications is about to carry out a survey in Canada on
the status of the artist. Because of the lack of recent data on crafts (compared
with other disciplines), special attention is to be paid to craftspeople -
almost half of those to be surveyed will be working in crafts. The
purpose is to document the current economic and social position of artists
and craftspeople, their working conditions, problems and needs.
