(PNG) transmission system between Kitimat, B.C. and Summit Lake, B.C.” The facilities will transport natural gas from the LNG regasification terminal near Kitimat, to” pipeline system at Summit Lake, near Prince George. fet proposed Kitimat PNG has recently entered into an agreement with Galveston LNG Inc. (the parent company of Kitimat LNG) to form Pacific Trail Pipelines a Limited Partnership (PTP) to facilitate development of the KSL Project. KSL Project facilities include: approximately 470 km of pipeline; one or more new compressor stations; temporary construction work- space, access roads, potential work camps, pipe and material storage areas, isolation valves and odorant stations along the pipeline route and equipment laydown areas. | The KSL Project is scheduled to begin construction in late 2007 and.be fully operational by late 2009. _ | Sw * | Regulatory Review The KSL Project is subject to review under both the British Columbia Environmental Assessment Act, SBC 2002, c.43 (BCEAA) and the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act, SC 1992, ¢c.37 as amended (CEAA). The comprehensive review by federal and provincial government: agencies is facilitated through a single, harmonized environmental assessment process by the B.C.
