PROPOSALS FOR OFFICIAL
COMMUNITY PLAN (C.C.P.)
Update and Zoning By-Laws

Proposals will be received by the District of Stewart to upgrade
the offictal Community Plan and Zoning By-Laws.
The work would be expected to start approximately August 1,
1995 and to be completed by December 31, 1995.
The Proposed work schedule should be divided into two distinct
phases:
Phase 1: Ofticial Community Plan Update
Phase 2: Zoning By-Law Revisions
The proposal will include a work schedule detailing meetings
with Council, data colfection, land use inventory, public meetings,
good documentation, policies and a fee schedule outlining the
hourly charge out rate.
Corporations or planners submitting proposals, please include
a relevant experience and information on similar projects.
The lowest of any bid or proposal will not necessarily be
accepted. Submissions and proposals will be received up to June
2, 1995 at 4:30 p.m. ce a

to submit to the District Manager of the B.C. Ministry of Forest, a

purpose of the Development Plan is to ensure that proposed harvesting
operations address integrated resource management constraints,
aboriginal use, and other public and resource uses.
