The original site plan for the proposed industrial development at 1831 Coast Meridian shows 4 warehouse type buildings sited north to south on the property, parallel to Coast Meridian Road. (Drawing #1) The application for phase 2 of the project shows the next 3 buildings in the project re-configured placing the buildings east to west. (Drawing #2) The project will maintain three accesses: one off Langan Avenue and two off Coast Meridian Road. The northern access off Coast Meridian Road, however has been moved away from the intersection with Kingsway Avenue to improve traffie circulation. The original proposal had 2 accesses off Coast Meridian Road. The revised design conforms to the guidelines of the M-1 (General Industrial) zone for setbacks, lot coverage and parking. The proposed phase 2 of the strata-title warehouse project generally conforma to the design guidelines for Development Permit Area I.
