Ae a Chartered Accountant, I conducted Municipal audits of nine Municipalities over an eighteen year period, and as a City Manager, acquired an understanding of Municipal administration at the local and provincial levels. Ags a staff member of the Harbour Commission, there has been a continuing association with Munieipal officials and staff. FRASER RIVER, BACKGROUND: Ase a staff member of the Fraser River Harbour Commission and a member of thea Fraser River Estuary Study Committeee, I have gained a broad understanding of the concerns of users, envirommentalis¢s, recreationalists, municipalities and the public, together with a detailed knowledge of the main arm of the river in relation to uses, hydraulics, habitat, navigation, dyking and zoning. This background has also established a working relationship with the Federal and Provincial authorities with responsibilities in the Estuary. PERSONAL POSITION: As a retiree, I am in a position to devote as much time and energy as required to represent the interest of all nine municipalities as appointee to the Fraser River Harbour Commission.
