It was agreed that although the response was down that the funds should stay in the budget in case sales increase when three-can collection is enforced. If there is no demand for the composters the money can still be used to promote other "green" programs such as Leaf and Yard Waste CoBection. Project Engineer to confirm with Province that we are still going ahead with composter program. c) 1994 Environmental Budaet Deputy Engineer reviewed items that are to be considered under the Budget review including administration, garbage collection and disposal, re cycling, home composters, Fraser Basin cost sharing, hazardous waste and soil disposal.
