Arrangements completed in Van-
conver last week by L. 8. McGill as
manager of Jessie Gold Mines Ltd,
for the sale of trensury shares of that
company by Vancouver brokers will
result in the continuation in a few
days of the development on that pro-
perty from the point where it was sus-
pended last fall’ on arrival of winter.

The work consists in the driving of
a. drift tunnel on ore glong the No, 3
vein until it: reaches. the No. 1 vein,
when that vein is to be followed into
the mountain. Just before the work
closed down -for the winter an ex-
ceptionally fine body of arsenopyrite
and quartz wns reached in the tannel.
The prinury: value-in the ore is in
gald—the clean arsenopyrite averag-
ing .75 uz. per ton according to re-
port. of W. G. Norrie, At the present
value of over $31 per ounce for gold,
this means about $23 per ton, There
