M2?’ Day is the day when the working class of the world meets as one army, under one banner and with one aim — to build a better world. Vancouver workers will be marching again this May Day (last year a parade permit was refused). From Powell Street Grounds, where the parade will form up Sunday noon, May 1, the Marchers will proceed to Exhibition Park for a great rally. And marching with the workers will be the’ Pacific Tribune, British Columbia's leading paper. Banners on a PT car will proclaim the aims of this Paper — peace, Canadian independence, trade with all the world, labor unity, jobs for all. At this moment in history the Pacific Tribune is needed by the working class and progressive forces as never before, in order to carry forward the fight for es Canada. Yet right now our paper is struggling to- sur- Vive. Our financial campaign to raise $18,000 and 500 subs is a life-and-death battle, which must be won if we are to keep our presses rolling. What better time for you than now to make YOUR contribution, on the eve of May Day, to the Pacific Tribune sustaining fund drive?
