Isabelle Longnus

Lauréate du Gala Provincial de la chanson 1994 dans la catégorie
auteure-compositeure-interpréte, Isabelle Longnus a lancé l'automne
dernier son premier album "Effleurez-moi". Elle entreprend cet été une
tournée qui la ménera a travers le Canada, l'Europe et les Etats-Unis.

category, Isabelle Longnus released last fall her first album "Effleurez-
moi". She is starting a tour this summer accross Canada, Europe and
the United States.

Catherine Dourget

Catherine Bourget, 17 ans, est la récipiendaire du prix Interpréte du
Gala Provincial de la Chanson 1996, Chanteuse pour le groupe popu-
laire "Les Générations" de I'école Brodeur, Catherine participe a
plusieurs concerts présentés lors d'événements culturels a travers la
province.

Catherine Bourget, 17 year old, is the winner of the Singer Award at
the 1996 BC Francophone Music Gala. In 1991, she became the lead
singer for the band "Les Générations" and participated in many cul-
tural events and concerts in Vancouver and Victoria.

Morico

Morico, lauréat du Gala Provincial de la Chanson 1996, s'est mérité le
premier prix dans la catégorie auteur-compositeur-interpréte ainsi que
le Prix du Public. Ses influences musicales sont le reggae, le jazz, le
fusion, le blues et le R&B.

Morico is the recipient of the Songwriter and Singer award, as well as
the Public's Choice Award, at the 1996 BC Francophone Music Gala. His
musical influences are reggae, jazz, fusion, blues and R&B.

Ngoma

Le groupe est composé de huit membres venant des quatres coins du
globe et leur style musical en est influence: Afrique, Haiti, Moyen-
Orient et Europe Centrale. Le nom du groupe NGOMA est un mot
Swahili signifiant danse, joie et rythme.

The sounds NGOMA produces come from the collected experiences of
four men and four women who come from all corners of the world.
They proudly display a talent for gathering and performing a mosaic
of musical styles from such diverse regions as Colombia, Africa, Haiti,
Middle-East and Central Europe.
