A Bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan of The Corporation of the City ef Port Coquitlam. an Official Community Plan was adopted by the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" AND WHE” 7AS an amendment to the Official Community Plan has been prepared and after First Readin,, of this Bylaw the Council has: (a) examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the most recent capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the Municipal Act to ensure consistency between them; examined the amendment to the plan in conjunction with the Economic Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial Development Strategy" to ensure consistency between them; determined that no applicable waste management plan exists for consideration; determined that the amendment to the plan does not affect the District of Coquitlam, The Corporation of the District of Pitt Meadows, or the Greater Vancouver Regional District. NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. The designation "Highway Commercial” shown on Schedule "B" of the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" as enacted by Bylaw No. 2508 applying to: All that part of Lot 2 District Lot 232 Group One Plan 6269, Lying north of Statutory ROW Plan 68301 New Westminster District is removed and the designation "Apartment" is applied. Chapter "V" Development Permit Areas of Schedule "A" of the "Official Community Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" is amended by adding the following after Section 2.15, as Section 2.16: "2.16 DEVELOPMENT PERMIT AREA XVI - ARGUE STREET This area is designated as a Development Permit Area under Sections 945(4){a) and (e) of the Municipal Act for the protection of the natural environment and for the establishment of objectives and the provision of guidelines for the form and character of commercial and multi-family residential development.
