That the Council authorize the Mayor and the Clerk to sign an Agreement
between the City and the Port Coquitlam Legion Housing Society to allow the
Society to operate a day care centre.

DISCUSS LON:

The RM-3 zone does not allow the operation of a day care centre. The Port
Coquitlam Legion Housing Sociaty wishes to operate a day care for children
residing in their Coop complex.

They are proposing to enter into an agreement with the City that will allow
them t. 2 licenced subject to receiving only children who are residents of
their complex. | |

Thé attached agreement was prepared by the Municipal Solicitor and will
acuieve the purposes of the Society without conflict with the City’s Zoning

Bylaw.
