The residents main concern is the conflict between Industrial activity and
Residential uses, particularly along Taylor Street, which they consider the
‘main entrance to this neighbourhood The residents believe that the use of the
subject property for Industrial use will increase the conflict between the two

land uses.

The iseve of limiting the Industrial use of the property immediately East
if the subject property ia used for residential purposes, was also discussed.
No delegation from the Induatrial property was present, however.

The decision of Planning Committee is to recommend Council that this
application be approved to proceed to a Public Hearing, at which opportunity

it ie expected that a delegation from the residents will again be present, aa
well as representatives from the Industrial owners.
