June 13, 1989/130 From the Parks and Recreation Director, June 7th, 1989 regarding Port Coquitlam Parks and Recreation Master Plan. Moved by Alderman Laking: Seconded by Alderman Gates: a) That Professional Environmental Recreation Consultants Ltd. be retained by the Parks and Recreation Department for the Master Plan. b) That the cost of $47,400 be allocated as outlined in Schedule A of the Parks and Recreation Department report for 1989 Capital Projects. Carried. Alderman Stewart voted against the resolution. From the Parks and Recreation Director, June 7th, 1989 re: Lions Park - Dyke Alignment. Moved by Alderman Wright: Seconded by Alderman Keryluk: a) That the proposed alignment, (as outlined on the map which will be at Council Tuesday evening), through Lions Parks be adopted. b) That this alignment be part of the main agreement for the dyking project in Port Coquitlam. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution: Moved by Alderman Gates: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the recomendation from the Parks and Recreation Director on the Lions Park - Dyke Alignment and from the City Engineer regarding the Coquitlam River Dyking Project be tabled for one week. Carried. Aldermen Farnworth and Keryluk voted against the resolution.
