MEMORANDUM

SUBJECT: Second Reading - Bylaw No. 2162.

RESOLUTION:

THAT the "Official Community Pitan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162" be
amended by striking out the second recital thereof and

substituting therefor the following:

"AND WHEREAS a community plan has been prepared and after First
Reading of this Bylaw the Council has:

(a) examined the plan in conjunction with the .most recent
capital expenditure program under Section 266 of the
Municipal Act to ensure consistency between them;

examined the ptan fin conjunction with the Economic
Strategy Plan entitled "Port Coquitlam Industrial
Development Development Strategy" to ensure consistency
between them;

determined that no appiicable waste management plan
exists for consideration;

referred the plan to the Counci! of the District of
Coquitlam and the Counci! of The Corporation of the
District of Pitt Meadows for comment;

(e) referred the plan to the Board of the Greater Vancouver
Regional District for comment."

THAT the said Bylaw No. 2162, as amended, be read a second
time;

AND THAT the City Clerk be Instructed to Insert the necessary
newspaper advertisements and make the other necessary
arrangements In order that the required Public Hearing on Bylaw
No. 2162 may be heid in Meeting Room No. 1 of the Terry Fox
Library, 2470 Mary Hill Road, Port Coquitlam, 8.C., on Manday,
April 28th, 1986 at 7:30 p.m.
