Because the project has already proceeded past third reading, this Committee recommends that no lane be required to be constructed as part of this development. ITEM IT Re: Paving Contract The Committee considered tenders for the 1981 paving contract and recommends that the tender be awarded to the lowest bidder, Imperial Paving, at a cost of $32.80 per tonne. The next highest bidder was Cewe at $33.00 per tonne. ITEM IIT Re: Tenders for Garbage Packer Tenders for the supply of a garbage packer closed on May 27, 1981. Three tenders were received for the cab and chassis as shown on the attached recap sheet. However, the tender from Dams Lincoln Mercury was based on the wrong type of vehicle and is not acceptable.
