She’s packaged her fam- ily’s nokedli Hungarian noodles under the name “*Better Than Perogies”’ and is selling them in a few local convenience stores. She's also formed her own company to market the pro- duct — Northland Noodles. Kutenics’ parents Kay and Steve run the Flight Deck restaurant and lounge at the airport and that’s where Tanya prepares the egg noodles. The noodles have been on the menu at the restaurant since the family took il over in 1994, And Kutenics has also sold them on Saturdays at the farmer’s market. But now she’s planning to take the next step and up- grade her packaging for a Tun at getting into the super- markets, “Ultimately P'd like to get into the Overwaitea and Safeway stores,” she says.
