Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Gordon: WHEREAS: This year a number of critical negotiations will be undertaken with the objective of reaffirming our commitment within a renewed Canadian federalism, and WHEREAS: The achievement of such an accord will require, on the part of ail Canadians, flexibility, tolerance and generosity, and WHEREAS: If people who are reasonable and of goodwill do not express their support for Quebec and for the renewal of Canadian federalism, it is possible that only extremists will be heard: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in the Province of British Columbia: . (1).
