SUBJECT: Drainage & Road Reconstruction Project - Stella Place
(Public Works Committee Meeting of October 1, 1991)

That the City of Port Coquitlam approve the reconstruction of the roadway and drainage
system at Stella Place based on an estimated cost of $57,000.

That $57,000 be allocated from the Public Works Capital Reserve for this purpose.

Due to the drainage problems, a flat road cross section and the steep slope (over 12 percent) of

Stella Place, north of Pooley, hazardous conditions are created during the winter.

It is proposed therefore to tilt the pavement, reconstruct the drainage system, and adjust the
pavement surface, as shown on the attached plan. It is estimated that this work would cost

approximately $57,000.
