THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM APR 29 1994 BYLAW No. 2595 A Bylaw to authorize the expenditure of monies appropriated from the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund by Bylaw No. 2252. WHEREAS Section 2 of the “Tax Sale Land Reserve Fund (Kilmer House) Expenditure Bylaw, 1987, No. 2252" appropriated $160,00.00 from the Tax Sale Land Reserve Fund for the purpose of upgrading the historical building in the City known as the "Kilmer House"; AND WHEREAS funds remain unexpended under this provision; AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend from the amount so set aside the sum of $10,000.00 to construct renovations to the City owned building at 2420 Mary Hill Road to enable it to be used as a "Women's Center" for the City; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. (a) The expenditure of $10,000.00 from the amount of $160,000.00 appropriated from the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund by Section 2 of the “may Sale Land Reserve Fund (Kilmer, House) Expenditure Bylaw, 1987, No. 2252" is authorized for the purpose of constructing renovations to the City owned building at 2420 Mary Hill Road to enable it to be used as a "Women's Center" for the City. | The Municipal Council is hereby empowered and authorized to undertake, carry out, or cause to be carried out, the construction of the said renovations generally in accord with the plans and specifications that have been placed on file in the office of the Parks and Recreation Director of the City and to more particularly specify and authorize by resolution all things necessary in connection therewith. Should any of the amount appropriated remain unexpended after the expenditures hereby authorized have been made, the unexpended balance shall be returned to the credit of the amount appropriated by Bylaw 2252 as aforesaid. | .
