AFFILIATIONS:

~ reorganized automotive shop, instituted Preventative
maintenance program, prepared and administered annual
replacement budget

- instituted ful! safety program for public works staff (over
200 employees)

- implemented ful} driver and operator training program

~ instituted full maintenance management program for
total public works area (budget over $6 million annually)

- integrated various departments and sections into one
public works area and created two Satellite yards

~ Set examinations and interviewed for several] supervisory

- Prepared defense*in cooperation with Solicitor to Precedent
setting arbitratic- case (the right to promote the best
candidate) .

~ Prepared annua! public works maintenance Budget and
works program

—- represented the municipality and actively Participated
on two major Lower Mainland refuse Study committees

~ Prepared tender documents for numerous municipal services
(eg. landfill cover material, road oiling, shoulder
mowing, shoulder Sterilization, catch basin cleaning)

~ Participated in municipal defence of & variety of court

situations (eg. Fisheries Act violations, nuisance,
negligence, trespass, third Party injunctions)

Member of the Assaciation of Professional Engineers of
British Columbia.

Member of the American Public Works Association.
