April 9th, 1979,

1979 at which time a display of promotional materials advertising Port
Coquitlam, Port Moody and Coquitlam will be shown and recommending that
the City allocate $100.00 of its 1979 Budget allotment to help with the
cost of refreshments.

Seconded by Alderman Wright:

That as recommended by the Community Development Committee, April
6th, 1979 $100.00 be given to the Coquitlam Chamber of Commerce to help
with the cost of refreshments at the Provincial Chambers of Commerce

Convention to be held in North Vancouver on May 26th and 27th, 1979;

AND THAT the $100.00 be taken from the Community Development Committee's

1979 Budget.

Alderman Ranger voted against the resolution.
Mr. Frank Toporchak, Vice=President of the Coquitlam Chamber of
Commerce was present and gave a brief explanation.
