om Victoria Day weekend, haeniy-nine potters gathered at the
Aberthau Cultural Centre for a raku workshop with Nal Riegger.
Both the location and the weather were peryect.

ite. Aiegger's technical expertise was benefietal to the success
of the workshop. The butiding of the wood firtng tiine, the
giazing, amd the actual firing precesa went weit. The firea
were stoked for ten houre etraight and people took turme chopp-
ing wood for moat of that time.

information, help given by the more expertencad and the warm
hoapttaitty satended by our looal membere to thoes who came from
out of toum. Im epite of the hard work and conetant attention
demandad by the kidne, by the end of the weekend many of we had
exchanged addpeaees and promises to keep tn touch.
