CANADA EXTRACT
PRIVY GCOUNCIL CONSEIL PRIVE

WHEREAS, on January 28, 1985, the
Government of Canada and the Government of the
Untted States of Amertea have stgned the Treaty
between the Government of Canada and the
Government of the United States of America
coneerning Pactfte Salmon;

WHEREAS, on March 17, 1985, the
Government of Canada and the Government of the
Untted States of 4mertea have exchanged
tnsetruments of ratification fon the said Treaty;

WHEREAS paragraph 18 of Arttele II of
the satd Treaty provides for the estohlishment. of
Panels as specified in Annex I to the satd Treaty;

WHEREAS Annex I to the said Treaty
provides that shall be established a Southern
Panel, a Fraser River Panel and a Northern Panel;

| WHEREAS paragraph 21 of artiele II of
the said Treaty provides that gach Panel shall
constet of not more than six members from each

Party;

AND WHEREAS paragraph 22 of arttele II
provides that paragraph 4 applies, mut+-'*
