Use of DCC interest - road allowance maintenance

Attached is a copy of the section of the Municipal Act which outlines what you can use
interest on park DCCs for. You will note that the basic requirement is that the dollars

imust be used on "park land", it is my understanding that the lithe cul-de-sac landscaped
areas are in fact dedicated road. In my opinion we would be stretching things a little to

call these "park land”.
