His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Jim Bryson, Band
Director, of the Terry Fox Senior Secondary Schoo! who made a
: presentation regarding the school band winning local competitions and
have now been invited to represent British Columbia in Ottawa on May 13th

: to 17th, 1987 along with a request for financial assistance from the City
in the amount of $6,000.00.

Seconded by Alderman Farnworth:

That the request for financial assistance in the amount of $6,000.00
for the Terry Fox Senior Secondary Schoo! Band be referred to the Finance
Committee for further study and recommendation.

Defeated.
Alderman Keryluk voted in
favor of the recommendation.

"That the third reading of Bylaw No. 2229 as given on February 2nd,
1987 be rescinded:

That Bylaw No. 2229 be amended by striking out the expression "City
of Port Coquitiam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" wherever it appears and

substituting the expression "Port Coquitiam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No.
2240"; |

That the said Bylaw be further amended by striking out the expression
"RS-1A (Single Family Residential)" wherever it appears and substituting
the expression "RS-2 (Small Lot Residential)"; .

AND THAT the said Bylaw No. 2229, as amended, be read a third time.
