: A Bylaw to authorize the expenditure of monies
: In the "Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds",
| WHEREAS pursuant to Section 719(7) of the "Munlcipal Aet", belng Chapter 290,
R.S.B.C., 1979, tha Council! establ lshed Development Cost Charge Reserve Funds;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend a portion of tha monies set aside in
the Owvelopmant Cost Charge Reserve Funds;
AND WHEREAS Council! Is permitted under Section 679(1) of the Municipal Act to |
| acquire property In the municipality for pleasure, recreation or community uses ,
| of the public;
| NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the Clty of Port :
Coquitlam in apen meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. The sun of 473,000 Is hereby appropriated from the Public Open Space Development
Cost Charge Reserva Fund to be used for a capital payment, Including planning, !
angineering and legal costs, for providing publle open space by acquiring title
to that certain parcel 2f land situate In Port Coquitiam, British Columbla, which
Is more particularly aaseribed as:
ee a Lots 5 and 6, Blozk "BY, District Lot 289, Group One, Plan 1954,

acquisition of whlch parcel of land is hereby authorl zed.

Should any of the above amounts remain unexpendad after the expenditures hereby
authorized has bean made, any unexpended balances shall be returned to the cred! t
of the spacifiad Reserve Fund.

3. This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Development Cost Charge Reserve
Fund Expenditure Autnorl zation Bylaw, 1985, No. 2108",
