Assessment Options.

While Council decides which option the City will go on for
general taxes the Province decides how the school taxable assess-—
ments are set, the attached sheet indicates the effect of the Province's
choice upon the residential and non-residential taxes within the City.
While this in itself is an indication of a continual shift towards non~
residential properties it is not conclusive as it will very much depend
upon the mill rates set for residential and non-residential properties.
