The fact that Dr. Joseph Cummings has offered to C.B.C. ~ T.V,

reporter John Daly and others, including myself, to test triforine
independently himself, yielding results within this coming week, and

to review research and testing data in this one-week period, with results
sent to Council via courier for consideration at the regular Council
meeting one-week from to-day, Monday, April 5th, 1982, all without charge,

New data accompanying this request, as references given by Dr. Joseph
Cummings, University of Western Ontario;

(i) From "Anti-Fungal Compounds" Volume Zz, pages 136 and 137, 1977 to
establish that triforine breaks down into piperazine and other compounds,

and .

(ii) From the World Health Organization's International Agency for
Research on Cancer, (W.H.O., I.A.R.C.) Volume 24, September 1980,
pages 297 ... to relate present concerns about and properties of

Piperazine itself.

Data from the "Compendium of Pharmacuticals and Specialties" published
by the Canadian Pharmacutical Association, Ottawa, Ontario, 1981 to
establish possible dangers from piperazine effecting the nervous system
and possibly interacting with other prescription drugs.
