(3) I was called out in the middle of the night to speak with a fourteen

year old girl who had just returned home after running away for several-days. the
parents were very concerned about her behaviour and in the past they had.

sought help from numerous sources. The girl would not conmunicate with

them and she was quite unco-operative with me. As a result of the

communication breakdown in this family, I referred them to the Ministry of

Human Resources so that they might receive help through a family support

worker. Even though they followed through with this, there have been

further problems.
