From the City Administrator, July 27th, 1979 advising receipt
of a request from the Port Coquitlam Minor Socca © Association for Council's
permission to hold a Beer Garden on September Ist, 2nd and 3rd, 1979 at
Viscount Alexander Elementary School.

That the request from the Port Coquitlam Minor Soccer Association,
under date of July 25th, 1979 for permission to hold a Beer Garden on
September Ist, 2nd and 3rd, 1979 at Viscount Alexander Elementary School,
be approved,
Carried.
Aldermen Laking, Ranger and Wright voted against the resolution.
NEW BUSINESS:
Alderman Mabbett expressed concern regarding the B.C. Telephone
poles which have not been moved on Kingsway Avenue as had been requested
some time ago. Mayor Campbell advised he will set up a meeting with
B.C. Tel to discuss the situation.
Alderman Keryluk stated he been approached by Mr. W. Szafranski
regarding the installation of tennis courts in the Tin Cedars es

Development.

That a letter be sent to Mr. W. Szafranski stating the status
of the tennis courts for the Twin Cedars Development so that he may

hand out copies to prospective buyers in the area.
