Total Damages ~ $3,000 Approximately $3,000 damage.to a trailer used as an office by B.C. Government Public Works. This trailer was heated by propane and after the furnace had gone out a man tried to re- light it when an explosion resulted. The *:xrailer was blown completely apart and the man was badly burned. 4 alarms to ‘schools, 2 due to malfunctions and 2 by design. The boys who set off these alarms have been expelled. Fire in a cafe oven caused no damage but the owner was ordered to clean up the ‘dirty, greasy stove. Garbage fire in area of a conveyor belt resulted in no damage to equipment. Co - ° 48 inhalator calls. 33 home emergencies consisting . Of breathing problems, heart attacks, strokes, epileptic seizures (2 D.O.A.'s), convulsions (1 child and 1 adult), advanced cancer, ‘meningitis and falls causing cuts and broken bones. 5 athletic accidents, 3 industrial, a man dropped a casting on his foot, a ‘man injured and burned from a propane explosion and a man had his leg go into a conveyor roller. 2 motor vehicle accidents, 3 overdoses, and a fight in a local beer parlour. Attempted ‘rescue and search for boy who drowned in’ the Coquitlam Rive. . . ee Len
