Mayor and Council . ’ October 12, 1972 has now made arrangements for the outstanding items, in particular, the repairs “ ' gequired to the subdivision services prior to takeover by the City and the miscellaneous outstanding accounts. One item that wes to be covered by Mr. Hullah was the completion of street lighting in the row housing section of the development. Mr. Hullah advised that he was going to be calling tenders and would complete this work on his own behalf. He now advises that he has called for tenders for this work but was not successful in obtaining any bids. He has therefore asked ‘that the City undertake te call tenders for this work and he will place the City in funds to have the work carried out. , Our solicitor has requested that Council give this matter consideration and if -Lt is acceptable he will ask Mr. Hullah to deposit the necessary funds with the City before we proceed. The City Engineer has agreed to these arrangements subject to the approval of Council being obtained.
