The letter from Westwood Elementary School was reviewed.

That a letter be sent back indicating that the City wiB not be participating
and that perhaps they should approach the school board.

However the committee did discuss the possibility of playground
equipment at Westwcod Park.
That a costing to install playground equipment at Westwood
Park be done,

in the installation of an adventure playground.
The parents in our s hoal community have worked hard to
pzovide the neighbourhood children with adequate playground
facilities. Znitial funds have been raised, community input
and support has been solicited, and consultation with
equipment suppliers has been carr ied out.
The need for additional play equipment in ouz part of
the municipality is immediate and pzanounced. The Westwaod

area is experiencing unprecedented growth; the proposed
townhouse development at Davies 6 Fox and the r apidly
