Home support is an alternative

DID YOU KNOW THAT onc
of the toughest decisions thal you
may have to make is moving into
an adult care facility or placing a
spouse or a partner into long term
care?

The stress of such a decision
may be lessened by being
prepared, knowing what's avail-
able and knowing what questions
to ask.

In B.C,, an increasing number
of seniors receive support ser-
vices in their own homes, such as
homemakers or home nursing
car.

When @ person’s health or
safety is jeopardized by being at
home, there are other’ options
available. Some of these options

age group of 15 to 17 years. —

In general, the student who is
selecled to participate in the pro-
gram is of above avtrage aca-
demic ability, in goodhealth, in-

face challenges, and to adjust to a
wide variety of people in varying
conditions.

Leadership class at Caledonia.
