Then they downed Port Coquitlam 7-3 before losing 5-2 to Langley. Next they ran their record to three-and-one with a 7-1 decision over Surrey. Following this was a 5-1 loss to North Delta. In the playoff. for. third and fourth, Kitimat lost 5-3 to Coquitlam. for national juniors. saa uate aa Golden Gloves to salvage their trip to Quebec next month Local boxers swing _ to Golden Gloves win Terrace boxers Joey Losier and Darren Bell came home with gold medals on March 24 weekend from Vancouver's Golden Gloves bouts, and they had to fight older and more experienced fighters to earn their victories. Thirteen-year-old Joey had no opponents in his class, so he moved up a notch and won his 110-Ib. fight on a 5-0 unanimous decision against a 15-year-old. Like Joey, Darren also had to move up and faced only one opponent.
