CLC REGIONAL VICE-PRESIDENT

All the top officers of the
Canadian Labour Congress
were re-elected by acclama-
tion at the Congress’ 10th An-
niversary Convention held in
Winnipeg April 25-29.

In the elections for regional
vice-presidents, Robert Smeal
won out over incumbent Ed
Sims in a close vote. Al Sta-
ley was re-elected the other
B.C. vice-president.

Executive Officers: Presi-

elected by acclamation) ; Sec-
retary Treasurer, Donald
MacDonald (re-elected by ac-
clamation) .

Executive Vice-Presidents:
William Dodge, Joe Morris
(re-elected by acclamation) .

Fare Increases
Effective April 24th

In order to continue to provide our

established standards of service in the
face of rising costs, we have found it

necessary to apply to the Air Trans-
port Board for permission to increase

our fares. The increase, averaging
about 5% on all scheduled and

charter fares will go into effect on
April 24th, 1966.

Although circumstances demanding this
action were beyond our control, we
wish to assure our customers that we
will hold our fare structure to the low-
est possible level consistent with the
service required by B.C. Air Lines
standards.
