Adj ournment November 22nd, 1976 Alderman Thompson requested a report on the number of City vehicles being taken home by employees and that the subject be scheduled for further discussion. Alderman Thompson commented on the traffic tie-ups occurring during peak periods as a result of the Lougheed Highway /Shaughnessy Street reconstruction and requested that M.L.A. George Kerster and the Provincial on Highways Department be contacted with a view to arriving a some sclution so as to schedule major works or extra heavy truck traffic for the off- peak hours. Mayor Campbell requested that the City Engineer arrange a meeting with Mr. A. Walisser, P.Eng., District Highways Manager for the Department of Highways and also request the Project Manager from Standard General Construction to attend, in order to apprise them of the concerns of the Council and local residents.
