“RE: Conservation Strength

At. a recent meeting the Environmental Sub Committee discussed the obvious lack

of policing and enforcement of conservation laws. Recent incidents involving
- violations of shooting regulations and the stoning of fish in the Interceptor
“pitch and various stxeems around the City are both examples of the lack of

enforcement in this area.

‘The Environmental Sub Committee feels that enforcement of conservation laws is
generally lacking in all areas of the Lower Mainland and recommend that a letter.

be sent te the Fish and Game Branch urging increased coverage and enforcement

of conservation laws.
