He moved to Terrace in 1950 where he worked as a leq scaler for Skeena Cellulose, and later as a night audit desk clerk at the Lakelse Hotel. He was a Lifa Member af Lakelse Lodge No. 33, 1,0.0.F. and’ was. recording secretary and Treasurer for'many years. He is predeceased by his wife, lola af 641 years whom he married in 1925 and also his daughter Pat Dewacht. He was the last living of a family of 13, belng one F of the middla children. He leaves behind his son, Jim Harpar and fis wile Liz, sofiniaw John Dewacht, Marge and family, § grand- children and one great grandchild. He was loved and adored by his family and friends as well as the staff at Ter- raceview Lodge who cared for him for the " past five years.
